ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS LIVE UPDATES: All the latest from the Emirates on comings and goings in Arsene Wenger's squad...

Monday July 24
10:15: Arsene Wenger has reiterated his belief that Alexis Sanchez will stay at Arsenal this summer.
The Chile forward is entering the final year of his contract and has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
But Wenger insists there is no need to sell one of his star players.
He said: “My mind has been made up for a while now. I think I've made it clear a few times that he is not for sale and this is my stance.
“There's always something that comes in. If it's not Sanchez then it's me, but I think Sanchez has got one year to go and we have no need to make money.
"He will be part of the team next year and after that I can understand it. But you don't want to write that but that's a version I can give you.
"We are in a strong financial situation so we want to keep our best players.
"You can see there is a fight everywhere to get top players. Man United, Manchester City, all the big clubs. All the clubs have big money."
09:30: Arsenal have received an enquiry from Antalyaspor over Jack Wilshere - but he is prioritising a move to West Ham.
The Gunners are ready to offload the 25-year-old this summer and are open to offers with West Ham, Swansea and Sampdoria all thought to be interested.
With the England international available, Turkish side Antalyaspor have spoken with Arsenal about a move.
Antalyaspor president Ali Safak Ozturk said: “We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere. It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
09:10: Everton have received a knockout blow in their pursuit of Olivier Giroud.
Ronald Koeman’s side are searching for a talisman capable of replacing Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United for an initial £75million.
But Arsene Wenger has delivered his verdict, and insists Giroud is prepared to fight Alexandre Lacazette for a starting berth.
Wenger said: “Giroud fancies the competition. As a manager, you have him on your back, wanting to play.
“He fights hard, you know. I like the way he responds to what’s happening. He is focused and determined and showed that on this tour.”
08:10: Arsenal and Manchester United are willing to launch huge transfer offers for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio, according to reports.
Asensio, who netted 10 goals in 38 appearances last season, is in-demand after taking the European Under-21 Championships by storm with Spain.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Premier League heavyweights are willing to break the bank for his services.
The report also adds that Juventus could be about to join the race for the 21-year-old.

05:00: Arsene Wenger is of the belief that Paris Saint-Germain only want Neymar because they can’t sign Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean has been linked with a move to the Parc des Princes and the French giants are closing in on a deal for Neymar.
But when asked about their interest in Arsenal’s prized asset, Wenger said: “Paris Saint-Germain cannot get Sanchez so they go for Neymar.
"I read L'Equipe in the last three or four days. It has moved from Sanchez to Neymar.”
03:30: Jamie Vardy has re-iterated he has no regrets over not joining Arsenal.
Vardy and Leicester will take on the Gunners in the opening game of the new season - a fortnight on Friday.
Although the England international could have been turning out in an Arsenal shirt, he thinks he made the right decision staying put.
“I have no regrets whatsoever. I have made some great decisions in my life,” he said.
“Since I have been here we have had play-off heartache to winning the league, battling relegation to stay in the league to avoiding relegation to finish mid-table."
Sunday July 23
23:45: Alexis Sanchez's prospective move to Paris Saint-Germain from Arsenal is being held up by two factors, according to reports.
The Chilean is into the final year of his contract, and while the Gunners have splashed out a club-record £52.7million fee on Alexandre Lacazette, no new deal has been forthcoming.
Reports over the weekend suggested PSG will lodge a £35million bid for the Chilean this week.
However, according to French paper Le Parisien, a move to Paris could be on the brink of collapse.
Le Parisien says Sanchez’s wage demands and transfer are proving to be major stumbling blocks.
18:00: Deportivo La Coruna have offered Arsenal’s Lucas Perez a staggering 10-year deal.
Galician newspaper DXT Campeon claim Deportivo president Tino Fernandez has tabled a ten-year offer to Perez that would see him become a technical secretary after hanging up his boots.
The report suggests Perez may have already accepted the offer but Deportivo and Arsenal still need to agree a fee.
The Gunners forked out £17million for his services last year but are likely to have to take a loss this time around with the Spanish side prepared to pay around £10m.
16:00: Some more news on Arsenal’s pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.
The Gunners are said to be in talks over his availability and are preparing to make an offer.
And it seems the 25-year-old is pushing for a switch to north London with Portuguese newspaper Record claiming Carvalho is prioritising a move to Arsenal.
Carvalho grew up idolising Thierry Henry and wears the No.14 shirt for Sporting in tribute to the Gunners legend.

William Carvalho is reportedly keen on a move to Arsenal
14:05: Arsenal have opened talks with Sporting to sign midfielder William Carvalho, according to transfer guru Tancredi Palmeri.
And Portuguese newspaper Record say the transfer move could go through as Carvalho wants to join the Gunners.

Palmeri tweeted this morning: “Arsenal are in talks with Sporting for William Carvalho”

Arsene Wenger’s men came close to signing the Portugal international, 25, last year only for him to stay at Sporting.
13:00: Chelsea are set to step up their pursuit of Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - but face a fight from Manchester City.
Express Sport understands the Blues will formally table a bid in the next 48 hours.
Liverpool are keeping an eye on his situation, but Chelsea and City are on course for a straight shoot-out.
Arsenal must decide whether to sell now or face losing Oxlade-Chamberlain for free next summer, as he has told Arsene Wenger he is not signing the new deal on offer.
11:58: Arsenal great Tony Adams has helped Manchester United - yep, you have read that right!

Adams took United midfielder Andreas Pereira, 21, under his wing at relegated Granada last season.

He sharpened up Pereira’s defensive skills and he’s returned to England more confident than ever of kicking on at Manchester United.

The midfielder laughed when a video of the Granada manager's overzealous training 'dance' was mentioned but insists the ex-England defender is far from a figure of fun.

"No, he was good," Pereira said. "He spoke with a me a lot of times individually.

"I have learned a lot from him and he's a good man. He taught me a lot of defensive plays because obviously he has been a defender.

"I am very happy that I got to work with him.”
10.50: Lucas Perez will reportedly soon make known his decision whether to stay at Arsenal or join Fenerbahce on loan.
The Istanbul-based club are keen on the 28-year-old and have been in talks with the Gunners over a potential loan deal for the Spaniard.
Turkish outlet NTVSpor claim Perez will soon make a decision about where he will be playing, although he would favour a return to La Liga.
But with the Russia World Cup next year, Perez could take a punt on Fenerbahce to play regular football and increase his chances of making the Spain squad.
09:53: Monaco have told Arsenal they must pay £55million for winger Thomas Lemar.
The French giants will sell the France international, 21, but only if Arsenal come up with big cash to get him.

It’s a major blow to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who has made Lemar one of his top targets.

However, Monaco fear their golden generation could be obliterated this summer and are doing all they can to ensure that doesn’t happen.

Arsenal could see Alexis Sanchez leave and Riyad Mahrez come in yet this summer
08:20: Arsenal are favourites with the bookies to land Ross Barkley from Everton this summer.
Manchester United and Tottenham have been linked to the wantaway Toffees playmaker.
But Express Sport understands the Gunners can afford to budget Barkley's £150,000-a-week salary demands - something Spurs will not do.
Arsenal, though, are also waiting for Everton to drop their £50m demands.
A bidding war late in the window could ensue as a result, with Barkley out of contract at Goodison Park next year.
07:45: Riyad Mahrez is forcing through a move to Arsenal, reports claim.
Leicester's star winger is a target for Arsene Wenger, although the Gunners are reluctant to meet his asking price, having prioritised Monaco's Thomas Lemar.
Roma have shown the greatest interest and had a £20m bid rejected.
The Serie A side are still pursuing Mahrez, but according to The Sun, he will rejects their approach in a bid to seal a £35m move to Arsenal.
The 26-year-old is prepared to wait until later in the window to make the switch, with his heart set on joining the Gunners.
07:00: Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal are facing a real battle to keep hold of their star forward this summer.
But Le Parisien say both Sanchez and PSG have sorted terms on a deal which would run until 2021.
The 28-year-old stands to earn £275,000 a week from his proposed contract in France.
It is also suggested PSG are confident of convincing Arsenal to sell with a £36m offer being prepared.
